Our quick and easy to follow recipe guide will have you serving content of effective deliciousness to a rewarding customer base and you'll be e-e-a-ting your website in no time.
Step 1 - Experience
1. Throw a good few handfuls of experience into your content bowl and ensure it mixes in well with the rest of your content.
Think depth of knowledge - in your website content are you showing your potential clients or customers that you know what you're talking about in your particular field or subject matter?
This could supported through author bios, case study examples, 'behind the scenes' content or by directly referencing your personal experiences within the content itself.
Step 2 - Expertise
1. Stir in a few cupfuls of expertise.
No-one knows your business better than you. Be sure to showcase your expertise with articles, photo galleries, client showcases or portfolios of work.
Step 3 - Authoritativeness
1. Carefully measure two level tablespoons of authority into the mix, you're going to want to get this right or you could spoil the taste.
Ensure your business website and brand is characterised by being trustworthy and reliable. The quality and quantity of inbound links from other reputable websites often measure authority - so be sure to build up backlinks to your website from relevant sources. That's not just linking it from any site possible, for best results build links from sources that are relevant in context to your profession/subject matter especially from websites with higher authority scores and use appropriate content to support your links so that relevant customers will want to visit your website.
If you don't have time or know how to build reputable backlinks, we can cover this for you in our SEO service packages.
Step 4 - Trustworthiness
1. Sift in 1 cup of trust and be sure to remove any lumps.
Make sure your website content is transparent about who is behind your content, provide clear calls to action, contact details and customer service information. Build and maintain a positive reputation and follow ethical content practices.
Mix it all together to create an engaging and rewarding customer experience. Don't over bake it and remember to keep it fresh.
